World Bible Plans Beginnings

  My name is Gary. I was born Jewish and became a Christian in the late 1990s. From the very beginning, I had a desire to read through the entire bible. I started many times only to be overwhelmed and then quit. That was both frustrating and discouraging. I was working in a large aerospace company as a data management engineer. I spent all day turning useless data into useful information. In 2010, God gave me the idea of taking the talent I had, the skills I had learned in managing data, and merging it with the desire I had for reading the bible. I started by creating a database that had multiple reading plans for a single bible translation. I decided not to stop at one English translation. I then created Bible reading plans in many languages. That began a ten-year labor of love to create not just one bible reading plan, but literally thousands. Thirteen years later, this turned into World Bible Plans. My sincere hope and prayer is that hundreds, thousands, or even millions of believers and soon to be believers will benefit from this site by being enabled to read through the bible and wrestle with its message. To this end, you will note that there is no charge for any of the services or products provided on this site.
